Ingredients

2 eggs

1/2 cup shortening

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup pecans

1/2 teaspoon water

2 cups sifted flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

12 ounces El Rey Bucare Dark 58.5% Chocolate

1 cup oatmeal (optional)

1/2 cup butter

Directions

Cream eggs, sugars, butter and

 

shortening.

Add water and vanilla.

Add flour, soda and salt. Chop chocolate into chunks and add to bowl.

Stir in pecans, oatmeal and chocolate.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes 375 degrees.
